Journeyman Plumber – Service & Installation

Location: Idaho Falls, ID
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay: Competitive hourly + performance bonuses (DOE)

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Journeyman Plumber who takes pride in their work and cares about doing the job right. This role is focused on residential and light commercial service, repairs, and installations. The ideal candidate is dependable, skilled, and customer-focused.

You will be trusted to work independently, diagnose problems accurately, and deliver high-quality solutions that reflect our company’s reputation.

Responsibilities

    •    Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective solutions
    •    Perform residential and light commercial plumbing repairs and installations
    •    Install and service water heaters (tank and tankless)
    •    Repair and replace piping systems (PEX, copper, PVC, etc.)
    •    Troubleshoot drainage, water pressure, and leak issues
    •    Ensure work meets local codes and company quality standards
    •    Communicate clearly with customers and explain recommended repairs
    •    Maintain clean, safe job sites
    •    Complete job documentation accurately
    •    Work collaboratively with dispatch and team members

Qualifications

‍
    •    Active Journeyman Plumbing License (Idaho preferred)
    •    Minimum 3–5 years plumbing experience
    •    Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
    •    Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
    •    Professional appearance and positive attitude
    •    Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
    •    Strong customer service skills

Preferred (but not required)

    •    Experience with service plumbing
    •    Experience with tankless water heaters
    •    Experience correcting poor installations
    •    Experience with flat-rate pricing systems
    •    Leadership or mentoring experience
