Home Comfort Advisor (Sales Consultant) – HVAC & Plumbing

Location: Idaho Falls, ID
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Base + Commission (earning potential $50,000–$150,000+)
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and professional Home Comfort Advisor to help homeowners find the best solutions for their HVAC and plumbing needs. This role focuses on in-home consultations, system evaluations, presenting options, and closing sales with integrity. The ideal candidate is trustworthy, personable, and driven to help customers make confident decisions.
You will work directly with homeowners to design solutions for:
• Furnace and AC replacements
• Heat pumps
• Water heaters (tank and tankless)
• Plumbing system upgrades
• Indoor air quality solutions
• Maintenance memberships
Responsibilities
• Meet with homeowners for scheduled in-home consultations
• Evaluate existing systems and identify customer needs
• Present clear, professional options using good/better/best pricing
• Build trust and educate customers (not high-pressure sales)
• Close sales and accurately complete paperwork
• Follow up with customers and maintain strong relationships
• Communicate clearly with install teams for smooth job execution
• Maintain accurate notes in CRM
• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals
• Represent the company professionally at all times
Qualifications
• Strong communication and people skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to build rapport quickly
• Self-motivated and organized
• Comfortable using iPad/tablet, CRM, and pricing software
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Sales experience preferred (HVAC or plumbing experience is a plus but not required)
