Apprentice HVAC Technician – Learn the Trade

Location: Idaho Falls, ID
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay: Hourly (based on experience) + raises as skills grow

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Apprentice HVAC Technician who wants to build a long-term career in the heating and cooling trade. This is a hands-on learning position where you will work alongside experienced technicians to develop the skills needed to become a licensed HVAC professional.

Responsibilities

‍
    •    Assist senior technicians with HVAC service, maintenance, and installations
    •    Learn to diagnose system issues (electrical, airflow, refrigerant, mechanical)
    •    Carry tools, materials, and maintain organized job sites
    •    Help install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork
    •    Perform basic maintenance tasks (filter changes, cleaning coils, checking airflow)
    •    Follow safety procedures and company standards
    •    Maintain clean, professional job sites and vehicles
    •    Complete training assignments and certifications as required

Qualifications

‍
    •    High school diploma or GED preferred
    •    Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
    •    Strong work ethic and positive attitude
    •    Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
    •    Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor conditions
    •    Basic hand tool knowledge is a plus but not required
